Colonists attack homes, spray racist graffiti in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron

HEBRON, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday attacked Palestinian homes in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, throwing stones and spray-painting racist graffiti on a mosque.

Local media activist Mohammad Awad told WAFA that colonists from the colony of Beit Ein, established on Palestinian-owned land and property in the town, attacked homes in the Safa area north of Beit Ummar under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers.

He added that the colonists threw stones at residents’ homes and wrote racist, anti-Arab slogans on the wall of the Safa Mosque.

Beit Ummar has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonists, particularly in areas adjacent to colonies built on Palestinian land. These attacks include raids, assaults on homes, property and agricultural lands, as well as attempts to prevent residents from accessing their land.

The occupied West Bank has witnessed a continued escalation in colonist attacks carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, coinciding with the ongoing war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in hundreds of Palestinians killed and injured, as well as widespread destruction of infrastructure and property.
