RAMALLAH, June 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Tuesday vandalized property belonging to members of the Arab al-Mleihat Bedouin community east of the village of Al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah.
Hassan Mleihat, director of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that colonists punctured water tanks and uprooted the main gate and sections of the surrounding fence at a Bedouin residential site belonging to the Mleihat family.
The attack caused damage to essential facilities and infrastructure relied upon by residents in their daily lives.
Mleihat said that targeting water sources and basic infrastructure in Palestinian Bedouin communities deepens residents' hardships, threatens their stability, and constitutes an assault on the fundamental means of civilian livelihood and survival.
