Israeli colonists plough Palestinian lands near Hebron ahead of seizure attempt

HEBRON, June 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists plowed large areas of Palestinian-owned land in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, on Thursday, in preparation for seizing it, and stole several sheep.

WAFA  correspondent reported that a group of armed colonists plowed large areas of Palestinian-owned land in the Al-Jalatiya area, east of Idhna, which belongs to several families, in preparation for cultivating and seizing it.

They also attacked a sheep barn belonging to Rizq Al-Nattah, stealing a number of sheep, after preventing residents, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, from accessing the area and forcing them to leave.

Locals said the Al-Jallatiya area has been repeatedly targeted, including a recent incident in which settlers allegedly burned large agricultural fields and carried out frequent attacks on homes and property in an effort to pressure residents into leaving.

In a separate incident, several colonists, accompanied by bulldozers, also stormed the village of Deir Sudan, northwest of Ramallah, with the aim of seizing it, noting that 90% of the village's land is located in this area.
