NABLUS, June 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set fire to agricultural land on Tuesday in the village of Al-Sawiya, south of Nablus.
Village council head Hikmat Abu Ras told WAFA that colonists in two vehicles ignited tires and threw them toward farmland along the road between Al-Sawiya and Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, causing large areas of wheat crops and olive trees to burn.
He said residents managed to confront the attack and extinguish the fire, calling on official institutions to urgently provide basic support to villages in southern Nablus to help them withstand colonists' attacks.
