HEBRON, May 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued on Saturday to impose a curfew on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, for the third consecutive day.

Local media activist Mohammad Awad told WAFA that the occupation forces have maintained the curfew since Thursday evening, deploying infantry units throughout the town's streets and searching several homes belonging to members of the Abu Ayash and Akhlil families.

He added that the occupation army also detained several residents, closed main and secondary roads with concrete blocks and earth mounds, prevented Friday prayers from being held in all mosques across the town yesterday, and shut down more than 25 internal roads within the town.

Israeli forces also detained a 15-year-old child after raiding his family's home during an incursion into the village of Al-Mazra'ah al-Gharbiyah, northwest of Ramallah.
