GAZA, May 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Palestinian child Fatima Mohammad Abdul Hadi Al-Khatib, 15, died on Tuesday from critical wounds sustained in an Israeli strike targeting the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip a day earlier.
Medical sources reported that Al-Khatib succumbed to severe injuries caused by the bombardment that struck Al-Mawasi area.
The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,797, with 172,821 wounded, since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
