BEIRUT, May 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Four civilians were killed and others injured on Sunday since the morning as Israeli airstrikes targeted towns in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.

The agency reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the town of Tura, resulting in the killing of a woman and the injury of two other people.

In the district of Nabatieh, the final toll from a strike on the town of Sir al-Gharbiyeh rose to nine killed, including a child and women, in a massacre carried out by Israeli air forces on Saturday.

Airstrikes also targeted the town of Kafra, coinciding with a broader escalation in attacks across Nabatieh and surrounding areas, resulting in the killing of three more people, including a Syrian national.

The report added that the Israeli air force also carried out strikes on the towns of Jeish, Yohmor Al-Shuqayf, Qaaqaiyat Al-Jisr, and Zawtar Al-Sharqiya.
