BEIRUT, April 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Six Lebanese, including two children, were killed on Wednesday in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon.
WAFA correspondent reported that five members of one family, including two children, were killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Jibsheet, while another civilian was killed in a separate strike on the town of Al-Shaitiya in southern Lebanon.
Israeli forces also carried out overnight demolitions of homes in the towns of Shemaa and Naqoura.
Additional air and artillery strikes targeted multiple towns across southern Lebanon, including the city of Bint Jbeil and surrounding villages, as aerial activity continued over the region.
