HEBRON, April 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians on Wednesday from the town of Beit Ummar, in the southern West Bank.
Local activist Mohammad Awad told WAFA that Israeli troops raided several neighborhoods in the town and detained eight residents, including two minors, after storming their homes.
In addition, Israeli forces set up multiple military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, while closing a number of main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
