BETHLEHEM, April 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, installed a telecommunications tower on Tuesday in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

Local sources told WAFA that the colonists erected the tower on Palestinian-owned land east of the village, near residential homes.

The source warned that the structure poses a danger to residents and may pave the way for further land seizure and restriction of access to farmland.

Last week, colonists had already set up a tent south of the village, close to homes, and raised Israeli flags there.

Residents report a recent escalation in attacks by Israeli colonists on Kisan, including harassment of shepherds, seizure of livestock, and repeated assaults on homes.
