BEIRUT, April 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Nine Lebanese civilians were killed and others wounded on Wednesday in ongoing Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in Lebanon.

WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted the town of Ansariyeh in southern Lebanon, killing five Palestinians. Another airstrike on the Qadmus area near Tyre resulted in the killing of four people and wounding three others.

He added that two Israeli airstrikes targeted civilian vehicles on the Saadiyat-Jiyyeh road south of Beirut on Wednesday morning. Israeli forces also struck the city of Tyre and the towns of Qalila, Yater, Zibqin, Wasita, Mahmoudiya, Majadel, Ghandawiya, Beit Yahoun, Jbaa, and Khirbet al-Duweir in southern Lebanon.

Israeli army also carried out house demolitions in the towns of Bint Jbeil and Hanin, while Israeli warplanes and drones were observed flying intensively over Lebanese airspace, reaching as far as Beirut.
