TUBAS, March 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Last night, three families from the Atouf area, southeast of Tubas, dismantled their homes and tents and began to leave due to escalating colonists' attacks and ongoing threats against them.
Moataz Bisharat, the official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in the Tubas Governorate, reported that three families were forced to dismantle their homes and tents in the eastern part of Atouf and leave after a surge in colonists' attacks in the area, accompanied by repeated threats that compelled the families to leave against their will.
He pointed out that the past period witnessed the displacement of a number of families from pastoral communities in the vicinity of Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley areas, in light of the escalating attacks by colonists that continue around the clock, including attacking citizens’ homes, assaulting and intimidating them, in addition to pursuing shepherds in the pastures, and stealing or killing their livestock.
