NEW YORK, March 10, 2026 (WAFA) – A large public gathering of activists and volunteers supporting the Palestinian cause took place in New York City. The rally, organized jointly by the Shut It Down for Palestine and ICE Out of NY movements, came amid escalating calls within the United States to increase public and political pressure to end the war on the Gaza Strip and support the rights of the Palestinian people.

Participants emphasized the importance of unifying efforts among social movements within the United States and linking the struggle for rights and justice within the country to the demand to end US support for wars abroad, particularly the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023.

The organizers also called for expanding awareness campaigns and volunteer work in the coming weeks and urged supporters to participate in upcoming activities and events to strengthen international solidarity with the Palestinian people and support their demands for freedom and dignity.
