13 killed in continued Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon

BEIRUT, March 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Thirteen people, most of them women and children, were killed on Friday evening as Israeli airstrikes continued across Lebanon, according to Lebanese media reports.

Four people were reported killed in the town of Nabi Chit in the Beqaa Valley, while nine others—most of them women and children—were killed and dozens injured in Israeli strikes, including one that targeted a house in the town of Majdal Selm in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that three people were killed in the city of Sidon, one in the Bir Hassan area of Beirut, and another in airstrikes on Beirut’s southern district.

Israeli warplanes also carried out more than 10 airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, destroying several buildings and infrastructure.

Additional strikes targeted the cities of Sidon and Tyre, as well as the towns of Hanniyeh, Bint Jbeil, Wazzani, Al-Khader, Srifa, Tair Falsay, Harouf, Toul, Deir Al-Zahrani, Tebnine, Al-Sultaniyah, Al-Taybeh, and Kawthariyet El-Riz in southern Lebanon, in addition to the towns of Boudai, Al-Khader, Sarein Al-Tahta, and Saida in the Beqaa region.
