BEIRUT, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Thirty-one Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut early Monday morning.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that "Israeli enemy raids on the southern suburbs and the south resulted in, in a preliminary and not final count, the martyrdom of 31 citizens and the wounding of 149 others."

Israeli warplanes bombed the southern suburbs of Beirut, killing 20 citizens and wounding 91 others. They also bombed several villages and areas in southern Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 citizens and the wounding of 58 others.
