JERUSALEM, February 18, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Health announced Wednesday evening that young man Nasrallah Mohammed Jamal Abu Siam,19, succumbed to the critical injuries he sustained during a colonists’ attack on the village of Mukhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier today, five citizens were injured, three by live bullets, including Abu Siam, during an attack by colonists and Israeli forces on Mukhmas village. The assault also involved colonists’ theft of dozens of sheep.
Mukhmas village, along with the nearby Bedouin community of Khillat Al-Sidra, is frequently subjected to attacks by colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. These attacks include assaults on residents, destruction and burning of homes, pens, and vehicles, damage to solar panels and surveillance cameras, and the theft of property.
The Khallet al-Sidra community is situated approximately 800 meters northeast of the village of Mukhmas. It is home to 16 Bedouin families from the Kaabneh and Jahalin clans, comprising a total of 59 individuals, about half of whom are children. The community’s primary source of livelihood is livestock farming.
