JERUSALEM, February 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians were injured today, Wednesday, in an attack by colonists and Israeli occupation forces on Mukhmas village, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, during which colonists stole dozens of sheep.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its teams treated three live bullet injuries, including one seriously, and transferred the injured to the hospital.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, citing local sources, four residents were injured in Mukhmas, including three from gunfire by colonists and Israeli forces, and a fourth after being beaten by Israeli forces.
The governorate noted that colonists raided the outskirts of the village accompanied by the occupation forces and stole dozens of sheep from residents’ farms.
Mukhmas village, along with the nearby Bedouin community of Khillat Al-Sidra, is frequently subjected to attacks by colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. These attacks include assaults on residents, destruction and burning of homes, pens, and vehicles, damage to solar panels and surveillance cameras, and the theft of property.
