JORDAN VALLEY, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli clonists burned several unoccupied tents overnight in the the Bedouin community of Al-Miyteh in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The sources said families had been forced to leave their tents in the area following an escalation in recent colonist attacks.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out a total of 1,872 attacks in January. The commission said Israeli forces were responsible for 1,404 incidents, while colonists carried out 468.
The incidents were concentrated mainly in Hebron governorate with 415 cases, followed by Ramallah and al-Bireh with 374, Nablus with 328, and Jerusalem with 201.
The commission said the incidents included physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing farmers from accessing their land, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural structures.
