HEBRON, February 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces began on Thursday expanding a newly established colonial outpost on Palestinian-owned land in the Umm al-Amad area, south of Hebron.
Activist Khaled al-Qaimari told WAFA that the occupation forces began expanding the outpost, which is adjacent to the settlement of Otniel and was recently set up on Palestinian land in the Umm al-Amad area, between the village of Karma and the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
He added that Israeli bulldozers razed large areas of Palestinian land towards Khallat al-Farra, west of Yatta. The bulldozing operation included widening roads, constructing infrastructure, and preparing the land for confiscation to expand the settlement outpost and add new caravans.
