HEBRON, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman was injured on Sunday after Israeli colonists assaulted her in the Masafer Bani Naim area, east of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

Local sources said that a number of colonist shepherds attacked the family of local Palestinian citizen Bassam al-Hudour in the area and beat his wife, causing her to sustain bruises.

Palestinian ambulance crews transported the injured woman to the town's emergency and ambulance center to receive medical treatment.

Colonist violence against Palestinians has increased in recent years, particularly in rural and agricultural areas, including repeated assaults on residents, homes, livestock, and farmland.

These attacks often take place under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, amid ongoing expansion of settlements and restrictions imposed on Palestinian communities.
