RAMALLAH, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man identified as Ammar Majed Hassan Hijazi, 34, was killed on Sunday after Israeli occupation police opened fire on his vehicle near the Uyoun al-Haramiya junction, northwest of Ramallah.

Local sources told WAFA correspondent that Hijazi, from Nablus, sustained critical injuries after being chased by Israeli police near the Uyoun al-Haramiya junction, where officers fired directly at him. He was announced dead a few inutes later.

The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health that Hijazi was killed after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces near the junction. His body has been withheld by the occupation authorities.
