GAZA, January 24, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed on Saturday evening in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said the victim, identified as 26-year-old Nour Farid Abu Setta, was killed after an Israeli drone strike targeted an area south of Khan Younis.
In a related incident, another Palestinian was injured by a gunshot to the head fired from an Israeli quadcopter drone in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza.
With this fatality, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire started on October 11, 2025, has risen to 485, while the total number of injured remains at 1,313. Medical teams have also recovered 713 bodies during the same period.
