KHAN YOUNIS, January 2, 2025 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was killed on Friday afternoon after he sustained critical injuries from Israeli military gunfire east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that 20-year-old Feras Ahmad Muhammad Abu Shanab was shot by Israeli forces in the town of Bani Suheila, east of the city, and died from his injuries shortly after.

The incident marks the latest in a series of ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement in the region, which has been in place since October 11, 2025.
