STOCKHOLM, December 28, 2025 (WAFA) – The Swedish capital, Stockholm, on Sunday evening, witnessed a large popular demonstration protesting and rejecting the continued Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of people gathered at Odenplan Square in Stockholm in response to calls by several civil society organizations to protest the Israeli army’s targeting of Gaza.

Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners condemning the killing of children in Gaza and the bombardment of schools and hospitals, while calling for adherence to the ceasefire and an end to famine.

The demonstrators also called for an end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and demanded a halt to the sale of weapons to Israel.
