GAZA, December 19, 2025 (WAFA) — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Friday that the war has destroyed classrooms and educational supplies across the Gaza Strip, stressing that its teams are working to rebuild alternative learning spaces for children despite harsh conditions.
UNRWA explained in a post on X that its teams are repurposing leftover wooden pallets into school desks, aiming to enable children to continue their education.
The agency emphasized that learning continues even under the most difficult circumstances, sharing a video documenting these field efforts across the Strip.
