GAZA, December 18, 2025 (WAFA) — A Palestinian child was killed and several others were injured on Wednesday as a result of explosions caused by remnants of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that a child was killed when an unexploded object left behind by the occupation detonated inside a residential home belonging to the Al-Souri family on Al-Jaouni Street in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
In a separate incident, a number of Palestinians were injured when another remnant of the Israeli occupation exploded in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Nasser Medical Complex reported the arrival of two injured individuals who were wounded by Israeli gunfire in the Batn Al-Sameen and Qizan Rashwan areas, south of Khan Younis.
In the same context, medical, rescue, and civil defense crews completed today the recovery of the bodies of 60 victims from the Salem family from beneath the rubble of the Abu Ramadan family home in the Al-Remal neighborhood west of Gaza City. The home was destroyed by Israeli forces during the genocidal war.
According to the Civil Defense, some of the recovered bodies were skeletal remains, while 17 bodies that had been temporarily buried near the house during the aggression were also exhumed for proper burial. The recovery operation took three consecutive days due to limited equipment and resources.
