BETHLEHEM, December 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian youth Muheeb Ahmed Jibril, 16, was killed today by Israeli settler gunfire in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem.
Tuqu’ Mayor Muhammad al-Badan said that the killing occurred after the funeral procession for 16-year-old slain youth Ammar Sabah.
As the mourners dispersed, a number of young men remained at the northern entrance to the town. A colonist then got out of his vehicle and opened fire directly at them, killing Jibril and seriously wounding another young man.
Al-Badan noted that Jibril is the second Palestinian killed in Tuqu’ in less than 24 hours, amid escalating attacks by the Israeli occupation and settlers against Palestinian civilians. He called on the international community to intervene urgently to provide protection for the Palestinian people and put an end to the ongoing killings of civilians.
