GAZA, December 7, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,360, most of them women and children, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the enclave in October 2023, medical sources announced today.
Local health authorities reported that the total number of injuries has reached 171,047, while an unknown number of victims remain trapped under rubble across the war-ridden territory, inaccessible to rescue and ambulance teams.
Over the past 24 hours, six new fatalities and 17 injuries were recorded in Gaza, the sources added. Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, the total number of fatalities and injuries stands at 373 and 970, respectively, with 624 bodies recovered.
