RAMALLAH, December 7, 2025 (WAFA) – An elderly Palestinian woman, her grandson, and two international volunteers were injured on Sunday morning after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in the village of al-Mughayyer, east of Ramallah, according to local sources.

The sources reported that a group of colonists attacked the family of Rezq Abu Naeem, beating his wife Fidaa and breaking her arm, and assaulting their grandson Rezq with blows to the head.

The colonists also beat two international volunteers with sticks and stones while they were present on village land. All four were transferred to hospital, where their conditions were described as moderate to mild.

In recent years, al-Mughayyer and surrounding villages have been frequent targets of colonist violence, including attacks on farmers, vandalism of property, and attempts to restrict access to agricultural land.

Such incidents form part of a wider, state-backed campaign of repression and intimidation across the West Bank, which has increased amid the continued expansion of settlements and outposts and the presence of armed colonist militias operating under Israeli military protection.
