NABLUS, November 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Sunday morning uprooted young olive trees near the village of Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that colonist shepherds stormed agricultural land planted with olive trees and uprooted and broke several saplings belonging to local residents.
Asira al-Qibliya is one of several Palestinian villages south of Nablus that have been repeatedly targeted by colonists from nearby settlements and outposts, particularly those linked to Yitzhar, known for frequent attacks on farmers.
Such assaults typically escalate during the olive harvest season, when Palestinian landowners attempt to access their groves.
