RAMALLAH, November 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists today attacked Palestinian olive pickers in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Sources said that the colonists attacked farmers while they were harvesting olives, physically assaulted one of them, and stole the produce.
Israeli occupation forces stormed the town to secure protection for the colonists, as soldiers took over several rooftops and turned them into observation posts.
Palestinian areas face repeated attacks by colonists and the Israeli army during the annual olive harvest season, as farmers are frequently targeted and denied access to their groves, resulting in significant material losses and deepening their daily suffering under occupation.
Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their properties across the occupied West Bank, resulting in the killing of 33 people.
According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, attacks by Israeli forces and colonists have also led to the uprooting, destruction, or damage of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees.
