RAMALLAH, November 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian prisoner advocacy groups announced that the number of prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons reached over 9,250 as of November, the majority of whom are administrative detainees. This figure does not include those being held in Israeli military camps.

According to the organizations, 1,242 of those held are sentenced prisoners, while 49 women are currently imprisoned, including one from the Gaza Strip.

The report also emphasized that over 350 Palestinian children are detained in Israeli prisons, especially in Ofer and Megiddo prisons, while the number of administrative detainees rose to 3,368.

Meanwhile,  the report said that the number of detainees classified as "unlawful combatants" reached 1,205, clarifying that this classification does not include all detainees from Gaza held in Israeli detention centers, and also includes detainees from Lebanon and Syria.
