Israeli colonists attack school in Khirbet Ibziq near Tubas

TUBAS, November 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the Challenge School in the village of Khirbet Ibziq, northeast of Tubas in the northern West Bank, last night, according to local sources.

According to Azmi Balawna, Director of Education in Tubas, a group of colonists raided the school, vandalized its facilities, damaged its contents, and burned the Palestinian flag.

The school has been the target of similar assaults in recent weeks, carried out by settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. These repeated attacks have created an atmosphere of fear and tension among the students.

In recent weeks, Israeli colonist violence against Palestinians has escalated significantly across the occupied West Bank. Colonists, often armed and supported by the Israeli military, have targeted Palestinian homes, schools, farmland, and vehicles in dozens of towns and villages.

Such attacks include property destruction, arson, and physical assaults, frequently resulting in injuries and significant material damage.
