JENIN, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces and colonists attacked today Palestinian olive pickers in the town of Kafr Ra’i, south of Jenin, according to local sources.
Sources said that several colonists, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, attacked farmers and olive pickers while they were harvesting olives in the town. Forces joined the attack and opened live fire toward olive pickers to force them to leave their lands.
Agricultural lands have been repeatedly targeted during the annual olive harvest season by colonists and the occupation army, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, inflicting heavy material losses, and worsening their daily suffering.
Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their properties, resulting in the killing of 33 Palestinians, and the damaging or uprooting of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
