GAZA, October 18, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 68,116, with 170,200 others injured, since the start of the assault, according to medical sources.

Local health authorities reported that 29 Palestinians, including 23 whose bodies were recovered, two who succumbed to their wounds, and four killed in direct Israeli strikes, were brought to hospitals across Gaza over the past 48 hours. Additionally, 21 people were injured during the same period.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, 27 Palestinians have been killed and 143 wounded, while the bodies of 404 victims have been retrieved. Authorities have also received 135 bodies that were held by Israel and returned in batches.

The medical sources added that 120 additional victims were recently added to the cumulative death toll after their information was verified and confirmed by the judicial committee overseeing reports of missing persons between October 10 and 17, 2025.

Simultaneously, thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Despite the recent ceasefire agreement announced earlier this month, Israeli forces have continued sporadic attacks and delays in allowing humanitarian access.
