GAZA, October 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others injured on Friday after Israeli forces targeted a vehicle carrying displaced civilians in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, according to local sources.

The Israeli occupation army reportedly shelled a civilian vehicle transporting displaced residents who were attempting to reach their homes in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. 

Medical teams and civil defense workers faced significant obstacles reaching the victims due to continued targeting of civilians in the area.

In a related incident, three Palestinians sustained injuries from gunfire by Israeli forces south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

According to local health authorities, the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 67,967 fatalities and 170,179 injuries.
