Israeli colonists attack Palestinian in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Wednesday attacked a Palestinian woman in Khirbet al-Hadidiya in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local activist.

Mu‘taz Bsharat said that some 20 colonists, escorted by the occupation forces, stormed the community and assaulted families, inflicting bruises across a woman’s body.

The gun-toting soldier also attacked the inhabitants, and detained three men.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli colonists carried out 7,154 attacks against Palestinian civilians and property in the occupied West Bank, killing 33 civilians, and displacing 33 Bedouin communities, comprising of 455 families, (2,853 people), according to the statistics of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
