Israeli forces and colonists uproot 150 olive trees near Hebron

HEBRON, October 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces and colonists uprooted 150 olive trees on Tuesday in Umm al-Khair village in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

Rateb al-Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlements in eastern Yatta and southern Hebron, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces and settlers stormed Umm al-Khair village, uprooted 150 olive trees, and destroyed agricultural fences and barbed wire fences for citizens near the "Karmiel" colony, built on citizens' lands and property in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided several homes in Umm al-Khair village, owned by the al-Hathalin family, and wreaked havoc on their contents.

They assaulted foreign activists and citizens, beating them, and prevented them from taking photographs.

Occupation forces also raided the Raq'at Ihriz neighborhood in the town of Yatta, raiding the home of freed prisoner Thabet al-Sari' and his brother Yasser, destroying their contents, and searching all homes and caves in the village of Janba in the Masafer Yatta area.
