Dozens in Washington call for Israeli PM's arrest as war criminal

WASHINGTON, September 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Dozens of demonstrators gathered in Washington, D.C., demanding the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for committing war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip over the past two years.

The demonstrators held up banners condemning the ongoing crimes in the Gaza Strip and chanted slogans calling for international justice and an end to US military support for Israel.

They stressed that Netanyahu must be held accountable before international courts for his crimes, noting that the war he is waging has resulted in the deaths of more than 18,000 children in Gaza alone.

They called on the US administration to stop shielding Israeli officials from legal accountability, demanding a firm stance consistent with international law and human rights.
