GAZA, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others injured on Sunday as Israeli airstrikes continued to target multiple areas across Gaza City.
According to medical sources, one woman was killed and several others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Sinaa Street in the southern part of the city.
In a separate attack, additional casualties were reported when Israeli forces struck a gathering of civilians in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. The exact number of fatalities and injuries remains unclear as rescue efforts continue amid ongoing bombardment.
Since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, over 65,200 Palestinians—the majority of them children and women—have been killed, with more than 166,200 injured, according to local health authorities. Thousands are also feared missing under the rubble.
Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and address the deteriorated humanitarian situation in Gaza.
