At least six Palestinian civilians killed, dozens injured in Gaza City

GAZA, September 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Six Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces bombed two houses in the Tuffah and Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City, targeting people waiting for aid.

Medical sources said that four people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a home belonging to the al-Jamla family near al-Shawabhi Square in the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

A Palestinian woman was killed and others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Al-Awda Hospital reported that one civilian was killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid in the central Gaza Strip.

The Red Crescent Society said that 14 people were injured by Israeli fire near al-Quds Hospital in Tel al-Hawa in Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their violent shelling and airstrikes on various areas of Gaza City since Saturday morning, resulting in the killing of people and causing the injury of dozens, including displaced persons and aid seekers.

The Israeli occupation army also announced the closure of Salah al-Din Street in the Gaza Strip to civilians forcibly displaced by the ongoing shelling of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, leaving only Rashid Coastal Street open for access.

Around 17 Palestinian civilians were killed  from Israeli gunfire since dawn on Saturday, including 14 in Gaza City.
