GAZA, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians, including children, were killed and others injured on Thursday as Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City, amid a wide-scale ground offensive in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces targeted the Al-Zarqa area in Al-Tuffah with heavy artillery fire, leading to the killing of four people. Medical and civil defense crews, along with local residents, managed to retrieve the body of a young girl from the rubble. However, efforts to recover additional bodies were hindered by continued shelling.

In a separate attack, Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians near the Al-Sanafur intersection in the same neighborhood, resulting in the killing of 23-year-old Mohammad Saeed Al-Rifi.

Meanwhile, Jerusalem Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, confirmed it had received five injuries after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device near the Bank of Palestine in central Gaza City.

According to medical sources in Gaza’s hospitals, at least 42 Palestinians have been killed since dawn today as Israel intensifies its bombardment of the besieged coastal enclave.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 65,141 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 165,925 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
