HEBRON, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday demolished two homes in the al-Tayaran neighborhood, south of Hebron, while colonists continued to expand a new settlement outpost east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
WAFA correspondent said that IOF stormed the al-Tayaran neighborhood in the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, and bulldozed two 100-square-meter homes belonging to the Abu Sharkh family, which housed 12 people.
Local resident Akram Abu Sharkh told WAFA that residents of the area are suffering greatly as a result of daily colonists' attacks, which include the destruction of water and electricity networks, preventing students from reaching their schools, as happened last week, and conducting provocative patrols around residents' homes, especially at night, with the launching of drones emitting loud sounds and the blowing of so-called horns, in an attempt to instill fear among residents.
He added that the occupation forces and groups of colonists are imposing a siege on the residents, preventing them from leaving their homes and grazing their sheep, and preventing their relatives from visiting them, saying that this is an attempt to pressure them and force them to leave their lands.
Meanwhile, the colonists are continuing excavation and expansion work on the new colonial outpost they established on citizens' lands in the Huwwara area, east of Yatta.
Activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA correspondent that a group of colonists continues daily expansion work on the outpost they established in the middle of last month. The outpost consisted of three tents pitched on citizens' lands, and it quickly expanded.
