RAMALLAH, September 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians on Wednesday evening sustained injuries in a colonist attack to the east of Rammun village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said that armed Israeli colonists descended upon a Bedouin community, east of the village, and assaulted the inhabitants, inflicting wounds and bruises across their bodies.
The assailants seized a herd of sheep belonging to the community.
Palestinian medics provided first aid treatment to four casualties and rushed them to a hospital.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
