GAZA, September 17, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 45 Palestinians, including 23 from Gaza City, were killed and others were injured on Wednesday in the ongoing Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
In the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, six Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting homes in the camp. Two more people were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the vicinity of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
Rescue teams announced that five Palestinians were killed and more than 50 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a gathering of displaced people waiting to receive humanitarian aid near a distribution center north of Rafah.
The Nasser Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip reported that five Palestinians were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent for displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, one civilian, his pregnant wife, and his daughter were also killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Two more Palestinians were also killed and others were wounded in an Israeli shelling of an apartment in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, several civilians were killed and wounded in an Israeli bombardment targeting the Ajur building, while Israeli fighter jets bombed a house on the neighborhood's first street.
Medical sources announced yesterday that 108 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, including 39 in the north, nine in central areas, and six in the south.
