GAZA, September 16, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli massacre committed at dawn on Tuesday in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City has risen to 20, with dozens more injured.

The Israeli occupation forces targeted a residential area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, resulting in a rise in the death toll. However, ambulance and rescue crews are facing great difficulty in recovering the bodies due to the ongoing heavy shelling on several areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, five citizens were killed by Israeli shelling near Al-Lababidi Street, west of the city.

A short while ago, Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike near the gate of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

Israeli aircraft have been carrying out violent airstrikes on Gaza City for days.

These airstrikes intensified last night and continue to this moment, after the Israeli occupation forces expanded their destruction by bombing or demolishing buildings, with the aim of forcing civilians to flee south.
