GAZA, September 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Hospitals in the Gaza Strip have recorded three deaths from famine and acute malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 425, including 145 children.
Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) announcement, 147 fatalities linked to starvation have been recorded, including 30 children.
Cases of malnutrition and starvation are arriving at Gaza’s hospitals every hour, with 900,000 children suffering from hunger, including 70,000 already suffering from acute malnutrition.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that malnutrition among children under five has doubled between March and June as a result of the Israeli blockade on the Strip.
