Occupation forces install iron gate on entrance to Jenin-area village

JENIN, September 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) installed an iron gate at the southern entrance to the village of Zabda, west of Jenin.

Saleh Amarneh, head of the village council, told WAFA that the IOF erected an iron gate at the entrance to the village, midway between the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates.

He added that the entrance where the gate was erected connects the villages of Zabda, Al-Khaljan, Dahr al-Abd, Khirbet Masoud, and Qaffin, all the way to Tulkarm. He added that the gate will affect approximately 7,000 residents of these towns and villages.

This brings the total number of military gates installed since October 7, 2023, to 243, including changes to the layout of some military checkpoints in the West Bank.
