JERUSALEM, September 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday morning installed an iron gate at the entrance to the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
They said that Israeli troops have recently intensified the installation of such gates at the entrances to villages and towns surrounding the city of Jerusalem in recent days.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of checkpoints and iron gates installed by the occupation army in the West Bank has reached more than 900, including 18 iron gates erected since the beginning of 2025.
In the meantime, around 146 iron gates were installed by the occupation after October 7, 2023.
