GAZA, September 6, 2025 (WAFA) – At least six Palestinian civilians, including aid-seekers, were killed and dozens wounded early Saturday from Israeli intense machine gunfire and ongoing bombardment on Gaza City and Khan Younis, according to WAFA correspondent.
According to medical sources, a child was killed in Israeli artillery shelling on Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, while an elderly man was also killed by Israeli forces' gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area southwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
In a separate incident, two Palestinians were killed and approximately 17 others were injured as a result of Israeli shelling gatherings of civilians at a humanitarian aid distribution point south of Wadi Gaza, in the central Gaza Strip.
A short while later, three more Palestinians waiting for aid were killed by Israeli fire near an aid center southwest of Khan Yunis.
Since October 7, 2023, around 64,300 Palestinians have been killed, the majority of whom are women and children, with nearly 162,005 reported wounded.
Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
